Service Description

MAD Goalkeeper Clinics are structured, development-focused sessions designed to help goalkeepers build confidence, sharpen fundamentals and improve game understanding — without the physical load of being in pads all day. The clinic is suitable for goalkeepers aged 6–60, with sessions adapted to support different stages of experience and development. Delivered across two evening sessions, the clinics allow goalkeepers to train with intent, recover well, and stay fresh — creating a better learning experience and higher-quality development. Each clinic is built around clear themes and learning outcomes, giving goalkeepers the time, space and support to work on: Core technical skills Positioning and decision-making Game-real scenarios and reactions Confidence and composure under pressure Sessions are: Purposeful — every activity links to a clear development goal Game-real — skills practised in realistic, match-relevant situations Supportive — calm coaching, clear feedback, and no shouting or pressure Thoughtfully structured — spread across two evenings to support learning and wellbeing Goalkeepers leave the clinic: Clear on what they’re working on and why More confident in their movement, decisions and communication Better prepared to take learning back into training and matches Each goalkeeper will receive a MAD playing top, giving them something to take away that reflects their commitment to learning and development. For parents, MAD Goalkeeper Clinics offer reassurance: sessions are well-planned, safely delivered, and designed with both development and physical wellbeing in mind. Hockey is the vehicle — development is the mission.
